
Festival Adjudicator: Bruce Graham
We are delighted to welcome Bruce Graham back to Buxton as the Festival Adjudicator. Bruce is a familiar face at the Festival and has performed with the National Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company for many years.
He began singing professionally in the 1970s and joined the D’Oyly Carte Opera Company, performing leading roles in the Gilbert and Sullivan repertoire. Bruce has appeared in eight West End musicals, including Me and My Girl, Follies, The Phantom of the Opera, Sunset Boulevard and as Old Deuteronomy in Cats. He is also President of the Friends of the G&S Festival.
In 2026, five companies will compete for the prestigious Ian G. Smith Festival Champions Award: Edinburgh G&S Society (Iolanthe), Peak Opera (Ruddigore), Grosvenor Light Opera Company (Patience), Bus Pass Opera (The Gondoliers), and The SavoyNet Performing Group (The Sorcerer).
