The Mikado

The Mikado is one of the best-loved and famous of all the Gilbert & Sullivan operas, and this brand-new production stars Simon Butteriss.
Nanki-Poo, the son of the Emperor of Japan, has fled to the town of Titipu to escape a forced marriage with the ugly, elderly Katisha.  He falls in love with Yum-Yum, who is engaged to Ko-Ko, the Lord High Executioner.  To complicate matters, Katisha arrives demanding her lover.
